SM prices edge higher in Asia
On Monday, SM prices witnessed a rise in Asia. The price gain was supported by high upstream crude and benzene values, coupled with stronger regional demand trends.
Reports of limited product availability further pushed prices higher in Asia.
FOB Korea SM prices were assessed at the USD 945-950/mt levels, a rise of USD 10/mt from last Friday's assessed levels.
CFR China SM prices were assessed at the USD 970-975/mt levels, a gain of USD 10/mt from last Friday.
Upstream benzene prices on Monday were assessed at the USD 660-665/mt FOB Korea levels, a rise of USD 5/mt from last Friday.
